Paul O’Connor
Paul brings a unique energy, reality and warmth to his photographs. His ability to connect with his subjects, conveying an honesty and naturalness engages the viewer. His images document with an intimate and fresh style, capturing moments of genuine interaction, pathos and humour.

Paul studied photography at Salisbury College of Art, where in his final year he won the National Howson Algraphy Student Award and the Polaroid Student Gold Award. In 1998 he set out on his own and started to shoot editorial for The National Trust and Country Life magazine. Paul now shoots a wide variety of subjects, but predominantly people, whether it be portraiture, lifestyle or children.
